„Spritual Mountain Hieizan"
This photography project follows my journey of hiking up Mount Hiei (Hieizan 比叡山) near Kyoto, Japan. The photos show the lonely and tough climb to Enryaku-ji (延暦寺), a famous Buddhist temple founded in 788 and known for its spiritual peace and historical importance. The hike is hard and isolating but reaching the top is worth it. As the summit is reached, the beautiful mountain views open up, and the peaceful Enryaku-ji temple welcomes all visitors. A smiling stone Buddha statue adds to the sense of calm and completion. This photo series invites the audience to join the spiritual climb and provokes philosophical thoughts about perseverance, solitude, and inner peace.
